Our Brother Hoppy
March 25, 1954 - February 2, 2006

On our vacation this year, he posed after he saw the picture of the
helmet.  He faced life head-on.

His last ride with us to The Tail of The Dragon, U.S. Rt. 129
Tennessee:
The Outlanders hauled his bike so he could ride the dragon with us.

God saw he was getting tired
and a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around him
And whispered, "Come with me"
With tearful eyes
we watched him suffer
and saw him fade away,
Although we love him dearly
we could not make him stay,
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts
to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

He fought to the end.

And was a great friend.
